This cuff is is 4-5 mm wide and made from round 6 gauge copper. The center of the cuff is hammered flat to create space for your custom text

This solid copper is not coated with laquer or chemical. See oxidation information below.

A NOTE ABOUT COPPER JEWELRY AND OXIDATION:

Unless the Protective Finish is purchased, I do not coat my jewelry with lacquer or other chemicals. After contact with skin, copper may oxidize or develop a dark patina. Water, ocean air, lotions, soaps, oils from your skin and even your own body chemistry will all affect how quickly your piece will turn. This may happen in a few days or weeks.

The process of oxidization (darkening) may also cause discoloration of the skin. It is not harmful to one's health and is readily washed off with soap and water.

A simple solution to prevent this is adding 1-2 coats of clear fingernail polish on the inside of the cuff. This will provide a temporary barrier to the skin and prevent discoloration. It will need to be repeated after prolonged wear.

You can polish the bracelet with a jewelry polishing cloth or with any copper cleaner, My favorite is 'Penny Bright'.

I personally hand stamp my pieces. Hand Stamping is different from an engraving process. Each letter, number and symbol is created using individual stamping tools.
Variations in spacing and letter/number alignment may occur. These differences should not be seen as defects, but rather adding to the charm and uniqueness of each piece. These cuffs are handmade and not made with a machine, so no two items will ever look exactly alike.
