TIME TO MAKE YOUR ITEM:

Most of my pieces are custom and made in the order that they are received. Production time is 5-7 business days (Monday-Friday). However depending on the time of year, it may take up to 2 weeks for me to get your order made and ready to ship.

Most of the time I will be able to send your item(s) out sooner, but it is important to plan ahead if you are intending to give the cuff as a gift.

If you need a gift for a specific date, I do offer a 'production rush' option that can be added to your order.
This will get most items made and shipped within 1-2 business days. This fee ranges from $14 - 25 depending on the piece.

We can only guarantee when the item will ship we CAN NOT GUARANTEE USPS DELIVERY TIMES. We have no control over the delivery process once the item has been handed off to the postal service.

Once a tracked package is marked as delivered, we are not responsible to replace or refund items.

Damaged packages must be reported to the seller within 48 hours of delivery, along with photo proof of packaging material, package contents and shipping label.

If your package is marked as delivered but you have not received it. Please follow the directions below. Most of the time the USPS will be able to locate your missing mail.

1. Check your delivery address to make sure it is correct.
2. Contact your local post office and let them know that the package is missing. They will be able to determine the exact GPS coordinates where the delivery scan was made and track the package.
3. Contact your neighbors to see if it was accidentally delivered to them by mistake. This happens more often than you think.
4. Contact USPS (877) 747-6249 and put in a service request for your missing package.



RESHIPPING ITEMS SENT TO INCORRECT ADDRESS:

If your item is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete mailing address, it is the buyer's responsibility to contact us to schedule re-shipment. YOU, the buyer, are responsible for any additional shipping fees.

PERSONALIZED ITEMS:
Personalized items include any piece that is hand stamped or engraved with custom text, dates, images or any alterations made to an existing bracelet, necklace or ring.

Unless there is a mistake on my part, all personalized items are considered a final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

PLEASE MEASURE CAREFULLY, CHECK YOUR TEXT FOR SPELLING and/or GRAMMAR MISTAKES.
Feel free to contact me with any questions regarding to size. If you are ordering rings you may want to get your finger sized by a jeweler, factoring in the width of the ring(s), before purchasing.

As a small business, each piece is made with care and time devoted to each order. We cannot afford to send out free replacements for items that were created per the customers' directions.

CUSTOM ITEMS:
Custom Items include any cuff, bracelet or ring (That is NOT personalized / hand stamped) that has been cut and sized for an individual. All my CUSTOM pieces are made to order. I do not keep inventory. Returned items will be recycled, but they cannot be resold.
If you have purchased a custom cuff, bangle or ring, that has NOT BEEN PERSONALIZED, and would like to RETURN it or EXCHANGE it for a different metal or style there is a 30% restocking fee . Thank you for understanding.

Due to the high cost of gold, the solid gold and 14k gold filled cuffs are a final sale. They cannot be returned or exchanged for a different size. If the cuff is too large it can be made smaller. Please get an accurate wrist measurement and follow the directions for ordering when purchasing these cuffs.

You may only return custom items if they are UNWORN AND IN THEIR NEW CONDITION. Items that clearly have signs of wear will not qualify for a refund. If you return products that have clearly been worn, the buyer then forfeits both the product and the cost of the item. If the buyer wants the item back, it is their responsibility for any return shipping fees.

Items MUST be returned within 21 days of receipt.

Custom items are subject to a 30% restocking fee.
Due to the high cost of gold, ALL 14k gold-filled cuffs are a FINAL SALE.

String of Jewels does not provide pre-paid shipping labels for returns.

Refunds will be issued to the credit card or Pay Pal account used for the purchase.

Shipping fees and "production rush" fees are non-refundable.

The item(s) must be unworn and in its/their original (new) condition. Repack the gift in its original packaging with a copy of the packing slip OR your order number AND your Name and Address. Then follow these simple steps:

1)Please contact me within 7 days of receiving your item to let me know you are returning it.

For your security, please return your gift with an insured courier (e.g. USPS Parcel Post, FedEx, UPS,) and retain your receipt. String Of Jewels is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit.

RINGS:
Gemstone Rings: Due to the risk of damaging the stone with the heat from the soldering process, rings with gemstones cannot be resized.
Name Rings can be sized DOWN a Maximum of 1 ring sizes OR sized UP a Maximum of 1 ring size.
There is a $10.00 resizing fee for one ring or $15.00 for a set of rings.
Wide Band Rings cannot be resized .

BANGLES:
Bangles are bracelets that do not have an opening and are worn by sliding the entire bracelet over your hand. They can only be SIZED DOWN.
There is a $10 fee for one bangle or a $20 fee for a set.

COPPER, BRASS, SILVER CUFF BRACELETS: Cuff bracelets have the opening for sliding off and on your wrist. Cuff bracelets can only be made smaller if text placement allows. There is a $5.00 fee to resize one cuff or $10.00 fee for a set of cuffs
