Frequently Asked Questions

What Does Hand Stamping Mean?

I personally hand stamp my pieces. Hand Stamping is different from an engraving process. Each letter, number and symbol is created using individual stamping tools.
Variations in spacing and letter/number alignment may occur. These differences should not been seen as defects, but rather adding to the charm and uniqueness of each piece. These cuffs are handmade and not made with a machine, so no two items will ever look exactly alike.

How Long Does It Take For My Order To Ship?

Production time varies depending on the time of the year and the amount of pieces I have to create. It is generally 5-8 business days (M-F) but it can be as much as 2 weeks prior to shipping. US shipping times vary from 2-5 days. International shipping can take 2-4 weeks.

Can I Rush My Order?

We do offer an add on option to rush your order. The "production rush" must be purchased in addition to your piece. Purchasing this option puts you at the top of our order list and will make sure your custom item is shipped in 1-3 business days.

What Happens If It Doesn't Fit?

Size or length of jewelry is the buyer's responsibility. Please read the product description for each piece for sizing details. If you have ANY questions about the correct size, please contact me prior to ordering. Most of the time it's as simple as using a measuring tape or piece of string and a ruler. Not all items can be re-sized. If it can be adjusted there is a resizing fee that is different for each product.

If it is a custom piece and you would like to have it re-made, I will provide you a 40% discount off an entirely new piece. This is the material, supply cost, and seller fees for me - so I would only be charging you for those items and not for the cost of my time to remake it.
This is a courtesy discount and can ONLY be used ONCE for the replacement piece.

What Happens If There Is a Misspelled Word OR Have A Grammar error?

If your text is different that what was requested on your order and the mistake was on my end I will gladly send out a replacement at no additional cost to you.

If however your cuff was created with the text indicated on the order the cuff cannot be returned or exchanged as it is a final sale.

I cannot remove the text (to reuse the cuff) or stamp over existing letters. The hand stamping process causes deep groves in the metal that cannot be sanded down without impacting the overall look of the cuff or impacting the integrity of the metal.

As a small business, each piece is made with care and time devoted to each order. We cannot afford to send out free replacements for items that were created per the customers' directions.

I offer a 40% off discount for a replacement cuff. This is the material, supply cost, and seller fees for me - so I would only be charging you for those items and not for the cost of my time to remake it.

The Black Has Worn Off On My Stamped Lettering. Can I Make It Dark Again?

Absolutely...and it's easy! As these custom pieces are worn, especially if you are active, or if you swim or bathe while wearing them, the black on the lettering may dull or wear off.

Can Sterling Silver Cause My Skin To Turn Black/Green?

Yes. Even solid .925 sterling silver can cause a reaction with your skin. This happens more often with wider band rings and cuffs or when you stack rings/bracelets together, which allows moister to get trapped between the piece and the skin.

Sterling Silver is 92.5% silver, but the other 7.5% is made from copper, which gives the metal its strength.

If your piece is turning your skin green, it is either tarnishing (because moisture is getting trapped between the ring/cuff and the skin. This is most likely the case) or it is happening because your skin is sensitive to copper, which is present in ALL sterling silver in very minute quantities.

The discoloration is not harmful to one's health, and is readily washed off with soap and water. It even happens to me every time I wear wide band rings or when I stack rings together!
